Built for deep-winter performance and everyday comfort, the Technical Baselayer Top Smartwool Women's Classic Thermal Merino Base Laye 2025 is the go-to women’s merino base layer for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and cold-weather travel. Made from 100% Merino wool in a midweight 250 g/m² interlock knit, this thermal merino top naturally regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and resists odors—keeping you warm, dry, and confident from first chair to last lap. The buttery-soft, itch-free feel sits comfortably next to skin, while the natural stretch of Merino moves with you through carves, climbs, and commutes. Thoughtful construction elevates comfort under packs and shells: shoulder panels remove top shoulder seams to reduce rubbing, and flatlock seams minimize chafing. A slim, flattering fit layers cleanly without bulk, and a drop hem helps the shirt stay tucked when you reach, bend, or pole-plant. Whether you’re building heat on the skin track or cooling off on the lift, Merino’s thermoregulation smooths out microclimate swings so you can focus on the line ahead. Wear it as a warm, breathable first layer on storm days or as a stand-alone long sleeve when the sun pops. Thanks to Merino’s odor-neutralizing properties, you can extend wear between washes—ideal for hut trips, long weekends, and minimalist packing. Available in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and in fresh 2025 colors: BLACK, BLACK DECO FLORAL, LIGHT GRAY COLOR SHIFT, TWILIGHT BLUE HEATHER, CORAL REEF, and ARCTIC GREEN HEATHER. Pair it with an insulated midlayer or a waterproof shell for the resort, or combine with a light fleece for fast-and-light missions. Care is easy: machine wash cold, dry flat, and you’re ready for the next outing. Elevate your layering system with a proven classic—Smartwool’s thermal Merino base layer designed for women who demand warmth without bulk, breathable performance, and all-day comfort on snow and beyond.
