With AEROSPACE, Julbo has created the first goggle that works just as well when climbing as hurtling down the mountain! This goggle came about in response to feedback from riders on the approach routes, before tackling the virgin slopes. To avoid misting during ascents, the SuperFlow System enables the screen to edge forward for greater ventilation, while remaining perfectly protected from the sun's rays. Add to that the very best Julbo technologies: a spherical screen and Minimalist Frame for XXL vision. AEROSPACE is available with all the REACTIV photochromic technical lenses. SuperFlow System : Thanks to the SuperFlow System, the lens can be easily pushed forward - even when wearing gloves - for better heat management and prevention of fogging when climbing or after any exertion.
Minimalist Frame : Super-slim frame to give extra-wide field of vision from every angle. The skier's view is completely clear both laterally and vertically.
Air Flow : Venting incorporated into the frame for good air circulation to prevent formation of fogging.
Protective peak : Removable peak providing protection from snow when the lens on the Aerospace goggle is in the open position
Ventilated lens : Additional ventilation via the lens to prevent any fogging.
Anti-fog coating : The inner surface of the lens has an additional anti-fog coating.

Which Photochromic lens to choose ?
As you head off to ski, look at the sky - it's overcast but, according to the weather forecast, it's going to be sunny. Which type of goggles do you choose? How many lenses do you take? One, two, three... What if you didn't have to adapt to changing conditions and the lens did it for you? Then all you'd need to do is take your goggles with you You'd be lighter, calmer and less cluttered as you bomb down the slopes... And, in addition, if the optical quality of the lens is one of the best on the market, you'd have the best possible vision, whatever the weather (fog, sun, snow). Isn't it about time you changed to a photochromic lens?
By talking to the pros and athletes in the Team and living all year round in the mountains, we can easily see what's practical and what isn't. In the mountains, weather conditions change quickly and you have to be able to adapt easily to each situation. Some manufacturers recommend changing lenses as the conditions change. That's time-consuming and complicated. Others recommend lenses that accentuate contrasts. That's still not enough. For several years now, we have chosen photochromic lenses to make life easier for riders and this is still at the heart of our product range, even today.
We offer the widest range of photochromic lenses on the market and want to promote this technology, now called Reactiv photochromic. The name covers our famous Zebra, Zebra Light, Cameleon and Snow Tiger lenses.
BUT WHAT IS A PHOTOCHROMIC LENS?
A changing, developing, adapting, variable lens..... there are so many different adjectives to describe how a "photochromic lens" works but the benefit is the same: the lens darkens on contact with UV rays and lightens when light intensity is reduced. So, if the light intensity changes, the lens adjusts without any action on your part!
