Farewell to fogging... even for wearers of prescription glasses! Like AEROSPACE, this OTG version also incorporates the SuperFlow System to optimize ventilation and prevent fogging thanks to a lens that pops away from the frame. With this goggle, vision is both wide and accurate, featuring our Minimalist Frame and excellent REACTIV photochromic lenses. User comfort is maximized with thermoformed face foam for easy fitting around the arms of glasses and the strap has an easy-clip buckle to attach the goggles with. Detailing with vision!
SuperFlow System : Thanks to the SuperFlow System, the lens can be easily pushed forward - even when wearing gloves - for better heat management and prevention of fogging when climbing or after any exertion.
Minimalist Frame : Super-slim frame to give extra-wide field of vision from every angle. The skier's view is completely clear both laterally and vertically.
Air Flow : Venting incorporated into the frame for good air circulation to prevent formation of fogging.
Protective peak : Removable peak providing protection from snow when the lens on the Aerospace goggle is in the open position
Ventilated lens : Additional ventilation via the lens to prevent any fogging.
Anti-fog coating : The inner surface of the lens has an additional anti-fog coating.
Dual Density Foam : Two layers of foam for optimum comfort and shock absorption with a soft-touch layer for softer contact with skin.
Axis strap system : Pivoting joint on strap for improved helmet compatibility.
Full silicone strap : Strap lined with a silicone strip for perfect grip.
Symmetrical adjustment : Two loops either side of the strap for symmetrical adjustment in the blink of an eye.
OTG (over the glasses) foam : Thermoformed double density foam contour adapting perfectly to prescription glasses.
Easy Clip : Additional buckle on the back of the strap for improved goggle placement.

Description Exceptional visual comfort in all weathers, including whiteout days. Ideal for extreme situations (north face to south face) or high level of sun protection for the eyes. Offers equally effective performance in both poor and clear conditions.
Sun protection Photochromic & anti-glare Photochromic & polarizing Photochromic
Visible light transmission rate (VLT) 15% - 30% 5% - 20% 17% - 75%
Anti-fog (prevents condensation and garantees maximum longevity)
Flash finish (improves filtration of visible light by producing a mirror effecton the lens)
NTS (the lens gets darker or lighter regardless of the temperature)
Which Photochromic lens to choose ?
As you head off to ski, look at the sky - it's overcast but, according to the weather forecast, it's going to be sunny. Which type of goggles do you choose? How many lenses do you take? One, two, three... What if you didn't have to adapt to changing conditions and the lens did it for you? Then all you'd need to do is take your goggles with you You'd be lighter, calmer and less cluttered as you bomb down the slopes... And, in addition, if the optical quality of the lens is one of the best on the market, you'd have the best possible vision, whatever the weather (fog, sun, snow). Isn't it about time you changed to a photochromic lens?
By talking to the pros and athletes in the Team and living all year round in the mountains, we can easily see what's practical and what isn't. In the mountains, weather conditions change quickly and you have to be able to adapt easily to each situation. Some manufacturers recommend changing lenses as the conditions change. That's time-consuming and complicated. Others recommend lenses that accentuate contrasts. That's still not enough. For several years now, we have chosen photochromic lenses to make life easier for riders and this is still at the heart of our product range, even today.
We offer the widest range of photochromic lenses on the market and want to promote this technology, now called Reactiv photochromic. The name covers our famous Zebra, Zebra Light, Cameleon and Snow Tiger lenses.
BUT WHAT IS A PHOTOCHROMIC LENS?
A changing, developing, adapting, variable lens..... there are so many different adjectives to describe how a "photochromic lens" works but the benefit is the same: the lens darkens on contact with UV rays and lightens when light intensity is reduced. So, if the light intensity changes, the lens adjusts without any action on your part!
THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES:
- Just one pair of goggles with a single lens that you can wear whatever the weather
- Constant protection against the sun's UVA, B and C rays.
- Permanent viewing comfort despite changes in light intensity
JULBO PHOTOCHROMIC TECHNOLOGY MEANS:
- The greatest reactivity for adapting to changes in light: Activation between 20 to 30 seconds
- high photochromic lenses ranging from category 1 to 3, 2 to 3 or 2 to 4.
- A wide choice in terms of colours and performance: 5 lenses available:
- excellent optical quality: NXT lens®
- a life-time warranty for the photochromic function
5 TECHNOLOGIES DESIGNED TO ADAPT TO EVERY SITUATION
The percentages on the horizontal axis correspond to the transmission of visible light. The higher the percentage, the more light penetrates the lens. The lower the percentage, the more the lens filters the light.
