Splitboard Jones Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 2027

Go farther, climb faster, and surf deeper lines with the Splitboard Jones Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 2026. Purpose-built for modern backcountry freeride, this ultralight splitboard blends a compact, volume-shifted shape with a featherweight construction to save energy on the skin track and deliver agile, confidence-inspiring performance on the descent. Riders love the Hovercraft’s short-and-wide outline for effortless float in powder, quick direction changes in tight trees, and rock-solid stability when you point it down the fall line. A long, rockered nose and tapered tail keep you naturally on top of deep snow, while a directional rocker profile and a subtly sculpted 3D base help the board roll edge-to-edge smoothly and reduce the chance of edge catch in variable conditions. When the weather turns firm, traction-style edge profiling along both inner and outer edges boosts grip on icy skin tracks and wind-affected faces, so you stay locked in on critical traverses. Underfoot, a low-hardware interface improves board feel and dampens chatter for a more natural, one-board ride in split mode. The ultralight layup trims grams without sacrificing response, giving you a snappy, precise feel that excels in steep couloirs, technical exits, and long missions where every step matters. A fast, durable sintered base keeps you gliding when the snow gets cold and dry, and eco-minded materials—like a bio-based topsheet and recycled components—lower the board’s footprint without compromising durability. Available in 152, 156, and 160, the Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 is designed to be ridden shorter than your traditional board thanks to its wider platform and generous surface area. Choose the size that matches your weight and terrain, then enjoy a splitboard that hikes like a feather and rides like a thoroughbred. If your ideal day includes pre-dawn starts, efficient ascents, and surfy, high-speed lines, this is your backcountry daily driver. Key use cases: powder, tree runs, steep freeride, mixed and variable snow. Key SEO: ultralight splitboard, backcountry snowboard, freeride splitboard, powder performance, directional rocker, 3D base, traction edges, lightweight touring.
