More info
The K2 Mindbender 96C 2024 is a nimble all-mountain ski built for skiers who want one dependable pair to handle everything from tracked-out corduroy to punchy mid-winter chop and soft, playful powder. At a 96 mm waist the Mindbender 96C strikes a smart balance between float and edge control — wide enough to offer stability and soft-snow performance, narrow enough to deliver quick edge-to-edge response on groomers and in tighter terrain. Available in lengths 166, 172, 178 and 184 cm.
What sets the 96C apart is a lightweight yet lively build: a responsive wood core reinforced with carbon laminates reduces swing weight while adding snap and energetic rebound through turns. The result is precise turn initiation, faster transitions and less fatigue over a long day. K2’s versatile rocker profile — rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot — provides playful float in fresh snow and confident bite on hardpack, making the ski equally at home in powder pockets and on firm groomers.
Durability and speed are covered by a sintered base that soaks up wax and maintains glide, while strong edge construction ensures dependable grip when you point the skis and lay an edge. The balanced flex pattern gives the Mindbender 96C a forgiving feel for intermediate riders yet enough authority for advanced skiers who like to push the limits off-piste and in variable conditions.
Use cases: this ski excels as a daily all-mountain option for resort laps, a playful weekend powder companion when the storm hits, and a reliable choice for mixed-condition days where versatility matters more than specialization. Lightweight construction also makes it easier to maneuver in tighter trees and on the lift.
If you want a single ski that blends agility, float and durable performance, the K2 Mindbender 96C 2024 is a smart pick — responsive edge hold, lively carbon-assisted pop, and the freedom to explore the whole mountain with confidence.
